# Mountains

Mountains presumably represent the mountain that your land may have. Mountains provide an important boost for resource production. Each mountain will provide you additional rock outside of the quarry, giving you a boost to overall rock production. There's a total of seven different mountains that your land may have.

There's also a chance that your mountain may have additional resources embedded within! Embedded resources allow players to mine and sell those resources at the marketplace for light shards regardless of parcel size. Crafting recipes using these resources will remain locked until you have reached the appropriate parcel size.
